Dogs at King’s Grove
Dogs are welcome at EMF - King’s Grove, provided they are kept safe, calm, and under control.
EMF - King’s Grove is an outdoor festival set across fields, woodland, paths, arenas, market areas, and performance spaces. Well-behaved dogs are welcome to join you for the adventure, but please plan ahead so your dog is comfortable throughout the day.
Bring Your Dog Along for the Adventure
Many visitors enjoy bringing their dogs to King’s Grove. The festival has open-air spaces, shaded woodland areas, and places to pause, but it can also be busy, noisy, and full of exciting sights, sounds, animals, and crowds.
Dog Rules
- Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.
- Owners are responsible for their dog’s behaviour at all times.
- Please clean up after your dog and use appropriate waste bins.
- Dogs should not be left unattended.
- Any dog causing concern, distress, or safety issues may be asked to leave.
What to Bring
- A secure lead and collar or harness.
- Water and a travel bowl.
- Waste bags.
- A towel or blanket if the ground is wet.
- Anything your dog needs to stay calm and comfortable.
Festival Conditions
The festival is held outdoors on grass, dirt paths, gravel paths, woodland areas, and uneven ground. Weather can affect ground conditions, so please consider whether your dog will be comfortable walking and resting onsite.
Noise, Crowds & Animals
The festival includes crowds, music, arena shows, applause, drums, announcements, horses, performers, and evening entertainment. Some dogs may find parts of the festival exciting or overwhelming.
Quiet Areas & Breaks
There are quieter places around the festival where you can pause, including shaded woodland areas and less busy corners of the site. If your dog is sensitive to noise or crowds, we recommend planning regular breaks away from the busiest areas.
Dogs and Weather
Please plan for the weather. On hot days, bring plenty of water and avoid keeping your dog in direct sun for long periods. On wet days, paths and grass areas may become muddy or slippery.
Assistance Dogs
Assistance dogs are welcome. If you have specific accessibility questions before visiting, please contact us in advance so we can help you plan your day.
Not Sure Whether to Bring Your Dog?
If your dog is nervous around crowds, loud sounds, horses, children, music, or busy event environments, it may be kinder to leave them at home. If your dog enjoys outdoor events and can remain calm in busy spaces, they are welcome to join you.
