Ticket terms, refund policy, and Ticket Booking Protection information.
Please review the terms below before booking so you understand ticket dates, refund rules, entry requirements, organiser rights, and the optional Ticket Booking Protection refund process.
Book with Confidence
Your ticket secures your place at EMF - King’s Grove. We want visitors to book with clear information about what is included, what happens if plans change, and how optional Ticket Booking Protection works.
- Tickets are generally non-refundable unless Ticket Booking Protection applies or the event is cancelled.
- Ticket Booking Protection must be purchased at the time of booking.
- Some tickets are valid only for the date, time, or ticket type selected at checkout.
- If you cannot attend for other personal reasons, you may sell or give your tickets to someone else, or request a transfer to 2027 subject to approval and a re-booking fee.
Refund Policy Summary
All ticket purchases are non-refundable unless Ticket Booking Protection was purchased at the time of booking, or the event is cancelled due to circumstances beyond the control of the Organisers.
If you cannot attend due to other personal reasons, your options are to sell or give your tickets to someone else, or request to have your tickets transferred for use in 2027. A re-booking fee will be required for approved transfers.
Ticket Booking Protection Refund Information
Ticket Booking Protection will refund the cost of your booking, or a portion of your booking, with appropriate proof of the reason for requesting the refund, if you or a member of your party for whom you booked tickets are unable to attend a booked event due to:
- Death, accident, or illness, including the symptoms that accompany a normal pregnancy; or an unexpected surgery of a member of your immediate family or any person(s) in the group due to attend the booked event with you. A doctor’s report is required for accident, surgery, or illness.
- The mechanical breakdown, accident, fire, or theft of a private vehicle while on route to taking you or a member of your group to the booked event.
- Jury service which you or a member of your group were unaware of at the time of booking.
- Burglary or fire at your residence, or a member of your group’s residence, in the 48 hours immediately before the booked event requiring attendance of the emergency services.
- Being summoned to appear at court proceedings as a witness or for jury duty which you were unaware of at the time of booking.
- Being a member of the armed forces and being posted overseas unexpectedly.
Please note that Ticket Booking Protection does not guarantee to provide for any claim, loss, liability, cost, expense, or refund of whatever nature directly or indirectly arising out of, contributed to by, or resulting from coronavirus disease (COVID-19), severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), or any mutation or variation, or any actual or perceived fear or threat thereof.

Full Terms & Conditions / Refund Policy
- Ticket Holders agree that they may be required to provide proof of age and/or valid personal identification at the entrance gates, event bars, or other controlled areas within the festival.
- Ticket Holders acknowledge that the Organisers (England’s Medieval Festival Ltd.), at their sole discretion and for any reason they deem reasonable and appropriate, reserve the right to refuse entry to any person seeking to enter England’s Medieval Festival – King’s Grove and the Pippingford Park grounds, and the right to request that any person leave (or have them removed from) the festival and the Pippingford Park grounds at any time.
- England’s Medieval Festival – King’s Grove operates daily rain or shine unless cancelled due to circumstances beyond the control of the Organisers.
- All ticket purchases are non-refundable unless Ticket Booking Protection was purchased at the time of booking, or the event is cancelled due to circumstances beyond the control of the Organisers.
- Day Tickets (10:00am – 5:00pm) and All Day Tickets (10:00am – 11:00pm) are valid only for the specific date selected at the time of purchase.
- Three Day Tickets may be used during England’s Medieval Festival public opening hours on each festival day (10:00am – 11:00pm on Saturday and Sunday, and 10:00am – 5:00pm on Monday).
- Camping, Glamping, and Live-in Vehicles for Weekend Camping Ticket holders have access to the Festival from Friday at 2:00pm (the day prior to the festival opening) until Tuesday at 10:00am (the day following the festival closing).
- Ticket Holders are permitted to record or reproduce photographs, video, or sound of activities, shows, or people at England’s Medieval Festival – King’s Grove for personal use only. Any other use, including commercial, promotional, marketing, advertising, publication, distribution, or reproduction, is not permitted without the express written permission of the Organisers.
- Ticket Holders give their express consent to the Organisers to use their actual or simulated likeness in connection with the production, exhibition, advertising, promotion, and/or exploitation of any photographs, film, video, and/or audio recordings captured while attending England’s Medieval Festival – King’s Grove and associated events. Such material may be used by the Organisers in any and all media worldwide without compensation or restriction.
- Tickets are sold subject to the Organisers’ right to change, vary, reschedule, or cancel scheduled activities and performances due to events or circumstances beyond their control without being obliged to refund monies. This includes, but is not limited to, circumstances related to severe weather, safety concerns, government restrictions, or public health events such as mass illness, virus outbreaks, or pandemics.
- Ticket Holders attend England’s Medieval Festival – King’s Grove at their own risk. This is an outdoor event and the ground may be uneven in places. The Organisers accept no responsibility for trip and fall incidents, injuries, or other accidents occurring while attending the festival or while on the Pippingford Park grounds. Ticket Holders further acknowledge that while the Organisers will follow all applicable health and safety requirements, the Organisers accept no responsibility for any health-related issues, including those arising from viruses, illness, or pandemics, that may affect visitors attending or participating in the festival.
- Vehicles are driven, parked, and left unattended on the Pippingford Park grounds at the sole risk of the owner. The Organisers assume no responsibility for loss or damage to vehicles or personal items left within vehicles.
- Dogs are welcome at the festival but must be kept on a lead at all times.
- For the safety and security of all visitors, the Organisers reserve the right to request and conduct bag checks upon entry to the festival or at any time while on the Pippingford Park grounds. The Organisers also reserve the right to prohibit items that may be considered dangerous, illegal, unsafe, or inappropriate for a public event.
- Weapons of any kind are not permitted unless they are part of an authorised performance, reenactment, LARP activity, or approved costume and have been authorised by the Organisers. Any prop weapons carried by visitors as part of costumes, LARP, or cosplay must be safe, non-functional, and suitable for a family-friendly public event. The Organisers reserve the right to inspect or prohibit any such item.
- Ticket Holders acknowledge that certain activities, demonstrations, displays, performances, and reenactments at England’s Medieval Festival – King’s Grove may involve inherently dangerous elements including combat demonstrations, weapons displays, animals, fire, and other performance activities. Visitors choosing to watch or be present at such activities do so at their own risk.
- Ticket Holders who voluntarily participate in workshops, demonstrations, or interactive activities at the festival acknowledge that such activities may involve risk and agree that participation is entirely at their own risk.
- Visitors are expected to behave in a respectful and responsible manner while attending the festival. The Organisers operate a zero-tolerance policy toward aggressive, abusive, threatening, discriminatory, or inappropriate behaviour directed toward festival staff, performers, volunteers, participants, traders, or other visitors. This includes, but is not limited to, harassment or any lewd, inappropriate, or unwelcome comments, gestures, or actions toward another person. Theft, shoplifting, harassment, or any other unlawful or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated. The Organisers reserve the right to remove any individual displaying such behaviour from the festival and the Pippingford Park grounds. Removal from the festival may also result in the cancellation of any associated camping or accommodation access. Any refund in such circumstances will be entirely at the discretion of the Organisers, in whole or in part.
- The following items are prohibited from being brought onto the Pippingford Park festival grounds: illegal drugs, fireworks, explosives, flares, weapons not authorised by the Organisers, hazardous materials, and any other item considered unsafe or inappropriate for a public event. Personal use or possession of illegal drugs is strictly prohibited. Visitors may not bring alcohol onto the festival grounds, and glass bottles are not permitted anywhere on site, including alcohol purchased onsite. The Organisers reserve the right to confiscate any prohibited items. Confiscated items may be retained for the duration of the event and, where appropriate and safe to do so, may be returned to the owner upon departure from the festival grounds. The Organisers accept no responsibility or liability for loss, damage, or deterioration of any confiscated items.
